Robotics for this term is full

Try back next term to sign up for our last term of Robotics for the school year.

Mrs. Fisher will be doing Robotics Club this year, we are so excited to have her continue this.  This term she is working with the Lego Robotics 2.0.  It will be in her classroom 3:30 to 4:30.  

In this club students will get a chance to combine 2 of the coolest hobbies around: LEGOS and Robots! Each week students will build a new LEGO robot. Students will be using LEGO We Do 2.0 building and coding kits. This club is perfect for students that love LEGO and is great for all coding ability levels.

This club will be led by Mrs. Fisher and will meet every Thursday from 3:30-4:30. Students will meet each week in Mrs. Fisher's classroom (Circle 4). Term 3 Robotics Club will begin Thursday, February 2nd and end on March 9th. The fee for this club is $40.

Our musicals this year will be The Lion King for grades 1st to 3rd and Beauty and the Beast for 4th to 6th grades.

Ticket Sales

Start on Wednesday April 19th, 2023.  You will be able to purchase your tickets online starting on Friday, March 31st, 2023.  Tickets are $3.00 each, you will have the option to purchase tickets in increments of 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 tickets on myDSD under optional payments.  Only guardians are able to purchase online all others can come by the office to purchase tickets.  After you have purchased tickets you will need to email Mrs. Lee, hlee@dsdmail.net, to choose your seats after April 19th 9:00 a.m.  Mrs. Lee will give out seat choices by order of the emails that come in first.

Show Time

Opening night is Wednesday, April 26th, 2023. Call Time for Leads every night is 4:30 p.m., rest of the cast Call Time is 5:15 p.m., Show time is 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Saturday, April 29th, Matinee Performance is 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 pm.  Leads Call Time is 2:30 p.m., rest of the cast's Call Time is 3:15 p.m.

How to Play Pokemon

Pokemon Club is full this time, check back later to see when the next club will be.

Calling all Trainers, Pokémon club is starting up again.  Starting in February, Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will have Pokémon Club in the Library after school, 3:30 to 4:30, your trainer can choose Tuesday or Thursday.  Tuesday club will be February 7th, 14th, 21st, and end on the 28th.  Thursday club will be February 2nd, 9th, 16th, and end on the 23rd.

This year we are encouraging parents to join us and learn how to play with their trainer.  Most of this game has reading involved and if your trainer is still learning to read the help would be greatly appreciated, then the trainers are not waiting to have cards read to play their turn. 

The club fee will be $40.00 for each trainer. On their first day we will be giving each trainer a small pack of Pokémon card.  We have battle decks for the trainers to use while they are at the club, or they can bring their own battle deck.  In the past we have had trainers bring all of their Pokémon cards, we ask that they only bring 1 battle deck ready to go to speed things up during club time.

Make sure you sign up soon!  Space is limited and we have room for 14 trainers per day.  Trainer spot is reserved once club fee has been turned into the office.  You can pay with cash, check, or credit card through the office, we can not add the club fee to myDSD, sorry.  The proceeds of this club will go to help support school activities for students and staff.
