This week, Lakeside Elementary students participated in a meaningful Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest. Each student prepared and memorized a 1-3 minute speech delivered in front of judges, explaining why Dr. King’s message remains relevant in their lives today.

K-2 Winner: Nora Whisman
3-4 Winner: Rachel Banz
5-6 Winner: Navy Nelson
