The spirit of giving is strong at Lakeside Elementary School, where students, staff, and families recently concluded a hugely successful Thanksgiving Food Drive, collecting more than 1,500 non-perishable food items.
The astounding collection total eclipsed the school's goal by over 500 items, demonstrating remarkable generosity just ahead of the holiday season. The collected food will be donated to a local pantry to help ensure families in the community have a warm meal this Thanksgiving.
