The sweet celebration connected to our science curriculum as students explored how energy is transferred between living things. # Junior Special Agents Investigate Book Damage! 🕵️📚

Last week, our students became **Crime Scene Investigators** in the Lions Library! 🔍📖 They explored four different crime scenes featuring broken books and investigated what happened to each one.

Mrs. Angie, our librarian and head investigator, led the Junior Special Agents through each scene. Along the way, students discovered how to care for their books and learned about the biggest problems responsible for book damage in our library. 🕵️‍♀️🚨

This creative, hands-on adventure made learning about book care exciting and memorable. Our Junior Special Agents are now ready to help keep the Lions Library books safe! 🦁📚

Who will be our next **Lucky Ducks**? During class, two students are chosen for demonstrating positive behavior and following expectations and procedures. If they meet the challenge, they earn the exciting opportunity to try the **Impossible Shot!**💈 ✨

This activity is about more than sports. Students also practice good sportsmanship, encourage one another, and show what it means to be a supportive teammate by cheering on their classmates. 👏🙌

Lucky Ducks is a fun way to celebrate responsibility while building teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. Way to go, students, for learning and growing together! 🦆🌟

# First House Meetings Were a Huge Success! 🎉

Last week, we kicked off our first House Meetings, and they were a huge success! Our four houses—**Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, and Réveur**—came together to celebrate community, connection, and school spirit. 💙🖤💚❤️

Students gathered with their housemates to meet their new House Leaders and Ambassadors, learn more about their houses, and celebrate the announcement of our very first **House Members of the Month**! 🏆👏

House Meetings are a wonderful way to build relationships, strengthen our school community, and show pride in who we are. We are excited for all the memories, teamwork, and school spirit still to come! 🌟

Fifth-grade students in Mrs. Szymanski's BTS Arts class are bringing the American Revolution and the creation of the U.S. Constitution to life through an immersive theater biography project. To kick off the initiative, Principal Lowry surprised students by dressing up as a Revolutionary War army general, engaging the classroom in character to model how to perform a historical biography report. By blending theater and history, students are not just memorizing facts about early America, but are actively stepping into the shoes of the individuals who shaped the nation.

Celebrating our 6th Grade Graduates! 🌟

What an amazing day yesterday! Our 6th graders officially graduated from elementary school with a graduation ceremony and a memorable clap-out around the track. We are so proud of each and every one of you as you move on to the next chapter!

The celebration didn't stop there—after the ceremony, our graduates headed to RUSH for an afternoon of well-deserved fun! 🎮🎳🍕 Foam pit, bowling, mini golf, and pizza made for the perfect way to mark this milestone.
